Treat staff and other guests with courtesy and respect. Therapists have the right to refuse services if they feel threatened in any way. You will still be charged the full amount of services provided if violation occurs.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to ensure the full allotted time. If a service begins late due to client tardiness, the service will still end at the originally scheduled appointment time.
Must provide at least 3 hours’ notice if any appointment is to be missed. If a notice is not provided within 3 hours of appointment you be charged $35.00. No shows will be charged the full amount for the session. New client specials will rollover to the next booked session.
(Example: appointment is scheduled at 5, you must call by 2 to reschedule or cancel appointment without penalty).
Payment is due upon booking your appointment. You must provide a credit/debit card to be held on file even if a cash payment is provided.
SMBW has a zero tolerance for drugs and alcohol, if therapist feels you are impaired in anyway they have the right to refuse services
Scope of Practice
SMBW Massage therapists are licensed professionals and held to the highest standards of the American Massage Therapy Association.
Massage Therapy is a profession in which the practitioner applies manual techniques, and may apply adjunctive therapies, with the intention of positively affecting the health and well-being of the client.
Massage Therapists do not diagnose or prescribe for medical conditions nor are they allowed to provide treatment for a specific condition without a doctor’s supervision. The massage therapist is required to refer you for diagnosis and to follow recommendations of your physician.
Information gathered during your massage session is strictly confidential. Questions regarding your health may be asked during these sessions merely to accurately gauge levels of stress, extent of injuries, or personal goals in the treatment.
Sound Mind and Body Wellness is dedicated to keeping their clients safe. When booking a mobile service one of our lead therapist will text you upon arrival. Each therapist is required to show up 15-30 minutes early for set up to ensure a full 60/90 minute session. When your therapist arrives he/she should be dressed in an SMBW T-shirt and provide proof of license. Do not open the door for any person that does not present a SMBW T-shirt or proof of license.
Due to the current conditions we are taking extra precautionary measures to ensure the safety of you and our staff. During our Mobile visits the following are required before entering into your home:
* All clients are to fill out COVID-19 Pre-screening form
* Face Masks must be worn by staff during entire session
* Temperature check at the inside
* Please ensure that the space provided to set up for your session is clean and free of debris.
Mobile services will require a card on file + 100% deposit due upon booking and must be confirmed over the phone. Locations within a 20 mile radius of 33713 will be charged an additional $25, locations beyond 20 miles will be charged $35 +. All Priority members opting to choose Mobile Services each month will also be charged an additional mileage fee per session.
Please ensure all pets (dogs, cats, exotic animals, etc) are in a safe place to ensure the safety of our therapist. Therapist will not enter home until above action has taken place.
